Terraced streets around Old Didsbury (Cavendish Road, Elm Grove, Lapwing Lane) are permit-only with tight back entries; a 7.5t staged on School Lane or Barlow Moor Road with a hand-truck shuttle beats trying to force a pantechnicon in. Fletcher Moss and West Didsbury's larger detached stock usually loads without issue, but Palatine Road and Lapwing Lane become bus-priority corridors on weekday mornings.
